Designing Your Next Career Direction
A structured coaching program
This program is for when you’re ready to explore what might be next – without rushing into decisions that don’t fit.
We work through a structured, reflective process (incorporating the Firework Framework) to move from uncertainty toward clarity, shaping a direction that feels meaningful, realistic, and grounded in your context.
If you are interested to learn more about the Firework Framework, refer to the career research & frameworks section.

When This Might Be Helpful
This program may be a fit if you:
- feel ready to explore what’s next — without rushing
- Sense you’ve outgrown your current role, but want to confirm that thoughtfully
- need clarity before making any structural changes
- want to test ideas before committing to change
- want next steps that are meaningful and grounded in your context
This is a structured space to figure out what makes sense next and how to move toward it.
Overview of the Program
- Duration: Approximately 4–5 months
- Pace: Thoughtful and flexible – no pressure to rush
- Focus: Understanding what fits you, not following a predefined path
This is not about choosing the “right” answer quickly.
It’s about learning through reflection and experience, so your next steps feel considered and workable.
The Coaching Program
Step 1: Reflect & Realign
We begin by taking a clear look at where you are now — your values, strengths, skills, and what matters to you at this stage. From there, we begin noticing early possibilities and, where helpful, trying small, low-risk experiments.
Why this matters?
Mid-career choices are rarely just about work. They’re about how work fits into life.
Example:
You might be performing well on paper – but feeling quietly drained. This step helps you understand why, and what that’s telling you.
What changes:
Clearer insight into what matters most to you, and a personal reference point to guide your next steps.
Step 2: Explore & Experiment
We explore possibilities and test them through light, real-world experiments – so insight comes from experience, not just ideas.
Why this matters?
Thinking alone can only take you so far. Lived experience helps clarify what actually fits.
Example:
A single conversation with someone working in a role you’re curious about may offer more clarity than weeks of online research.
What changes:
Options begin to narrow, and you gain a clearer sense of what resonates – not just in theory, but in practice.
Step 3: Decide & Move Forward
We reflect on what you’ve learned and shape a way forward that feels aligned and doable, given where you are right now.
Why this matters?
Confidence grows when choices are grounded in experience rather than guesswork.
Example:
You might move toward a new field – or reshape your current role to better reflect what matters to you now.
What changes:
A clear, thoughtful plan that fits your values, your energy, and your context.
